Art Class Withdrawal/Refund Policy:

Individuals who withdraw from their class up to 2 weeks before it begins, will be assessed a $50.00 cancellation FEE and the difference will be in the form of a credit for any future classes.  The fee is due to credit card fees, advertising for the class seat at a premium, and purchasing materials based on class numbers.

An enrolled student withdrawing 1 week before, or after it begins, will receive no refund, unless outstanding circumstances exist.  If that is the case, credit may be extended to a class of equal value, minus the class attended and less the $50.00 cancellation fee.  This credit must be used within 6 months. Otherwise, it can be handled case by case, at the sole discretion of the owner, minus a cancellation fee.

If a student withdraws after the second class, no refunds or credit will be issued.

Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded.

NO DROP IN'S allowed! You MUST be registered for a class in order to participate. This way our instructors have enough supplies for all of our students and minimize disruption to our current classes. We appreciate your understanding.

The Blue Starfish reserves the right to cancel an enrollment if the student is not following the instructor guided curriculum. All classes are designed to establish proficiency therefore this will often require learning essential skills before progressing onto more substantial projects. We are not a create your own project based studio. We teach the fundamentals starting at beginner levels and move onto Intermediate, Advanced and Expert levels. Please understand, especially in our beginner Adult classes, you may have a younger instructor who teaches older students. Please respect them and their teaching style. Despite their age difference, The Blue Starfish has screened all instructors who are hired and are experienced experts at the craft they teach. They are each highly qualified instructors. Some have started as adult hobbyists and some have been working on their skill since childhood. Please be respectful to all of our staff. There is a ZERO tolerance policy for disrespectful students in any manner. If you are, you risk being unenrolled without notice and NO refunds will be issued. Please be Kind! :)

Missed Class Policies:

Students who miss the class of their own accord, vacation, or other activity will not receive a refund, credit, or make-up opportunity. However, materials may be picked up to work on projects at home to stay current.

Student Make-up classes are not offered at this time.  

Classes canceled due to instructor absence, inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances will be made up at the end, or credit given.

LATE DROP OFF:

Traffic happens! There is a 5-minute grace period. However, if more than 10 min late it is disruptive to class & unfair to your artist causing them to miss all instructions. 

LATE PICKUP:

Please do your best to be prompt for pick up!  *Note If routinely late,  $5 per minute will be charged* Please make alternative arrangements/car pool if you will not be able to pick up your child.

​Missed Art Classes or Camp Days: 

Individuals who are registered and miss any of the listed Art classes, or camp days, they have registered for, do so at their own loss and risk. There are no refunds as there is no time to advertise & fill your empty seat. Therefore, Make-Up classes are not available at this time. Please try to do your best to make it to your registered class.

Art Class & Camp Withdrawal/Refund Policy:

If notice is given 90 days or more before the start date: full refund is given less a $50 processing fee.

If notice is given 60 days,  before the start date: a refund is given less a $100 processing fee.

With less than 30 days' notice given, no refunds will be issued. 

Students who fail to show up, will not be refunded.

 The processing fees cover the forever climbing website and credit card fees, advertising for the class seat at a premium, plus quality art materials. Thank you for understanding that our center is a small business and my livelihood.
